Almost a month after the death of Comedienne and former Fashion Police Chief anchor-Joan RIvers, her daughter-Melissa Rivers is reportedly making serious plans to sue the medical center where Joan died and the doctors who attended to her before her demise.
Sources reveal that Melissa is taking this legal action, solely to find out exactly how her mother died as no credible information has been given to her on the issue.
According to TMZ, shortly after the New York Department of Health and Human Services discovered that Yorkville Endoscopy LLC was “deficient” in surgical services and medical staff, Melissa suspected foul play and tried to find out the root of the whole issue and what exactly led to her Mother’s death but she was repeatedly ignored and dribbled by hospital staff and authorities.
This frustrated her and she immediately went to seek help from her lawyers who adviced her to file a lawsuit as they were all convinced that doing so was the only way to get the truth of the matter because they all believe the Department of Health knows exactly what happened but has chosen to keep mum, for fear of a scandal.
The law suit entitles her to force doctors and facility staff to sit for sworn depositions and answer questions about what happened the day Joan stopped breathing.
